Beachy Head Coastal Clean! - Sun 9th April

Join us if you can this Easter Sunday for a Green Sock Movement 💚 bhassexplore project Coastal Clearance day ... out on the incredible coastline beneath the cliffs of Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters... we will meet at the very western end of Eastbourne's promenade at Holywell just before 8.ooam and walk out along the coast at low tide to Cow Gap and Falling Sands... we will gather and bag as much plastic trash as possible along the way, as we enjoy this exposed tidal zone and its fascinating scenery... From Falling Sands, those wishing to go further on this environmental journey with us, can continue to walk to the lighthouse zone and beyond, and spend the whole afternoon with us, as we continue to clear up this beautiful coastscape and fully experience the splendour of this untamable location.... we will be cut off by the high tide until after 4.oopm and so have plenty of time to beachcomb and relax in a truly spectacular setting.... come with us and learn how we remove tonnes of marine debris from this ruggedly beautiful place and marvel at its peaceful ambience away from our 21st century lives... please wear sturdy footwear and bring a packed lunch and plenty of liquids with you and be prepared for a longish walk over tricky terrain... or join us for the morning part of the day and return back up the steps at Cow Gap and back over the Downs to Eastbourne.... the choice is yours... all are welcome to join us... find out more about our recent environmental activities by visiting our bhassexplore Facebook page or the @bhass_explore Instagram account... hope you can join us... let's all work TOGETHER to make a difference and help clear up all this mess wherever we live! Thank you 💚
