We will be there, down at the sea end of this beautiful wildlife habitat and nature reserve, from 8.ooam till 5.oopm all day, clearing up plastic trash, marine debris and other junk from the shingle beaches,flood plains and river banks, after Storm Ciaran has dumped its load all along our coastline, here in East Sussex... there will be plenty to pick up and do... from micro plastics to large amounts of fishing industry ropes and ghost nets and general shipping debris as well as everyday litter and trash... l will post more details up on our Instagram and Facebook pages tomorrow morning and hopefully on our www.bhassexplore.com website too... if you can't get to Cuckmere then please consider getting out onto a section of the coast nearer where you live... low tide is around 10.ooam Sunday morning so access to most of the coast is between 7.ooam and 1.oopm ... please take care and work in groups... all sections of our coastlines and the shingle beaches will need cleaning... so much trash washes in on these storm tides... large objects and small objects alike... so take strong gathering bags with you and sharp serrated edged knives, gloves and sturdy shoes... and remember... you never know what you may find... but it all needs picking up and removing to a bin!
