THE BIG ONE! Cow Gap > Falling Sands. Beachy Head, Birling Gap. Sun 18th Feb 9am - 3pm

e Join Us if you can next Sunday 18th Feb for our first Epic Environmental Adventure and Extreme Beach Clean leaving from either Holywell and Cow Gap or alternatively from Birling Gap and all walking in towards Beachy Head Lighthouse to rendezvous at the www.bhassexplore.com Green Sock Movement ☠️marine☠️debris☠️ collection point for lunch between 12 noon and 1.oopm before heading back to either departure point well before 3.oopm and the incoming tide.. no need to rush or panic as we have six hours low tide access between 9 and 3... plenty of time to walk whilst gathering and bagging everything we find and getting it all to the marine debris collection point near the lighthouse to be stored in tonne bags for removal by boat at a later date... please share this event with others who may wish to join us... many hands make light work and by all walking and working TOGETHER we can clear tonnes of nasty harmful materials from this ruggedly beautiful and remote location beneath the cliffs between Cow Gap and Birling Gap.... please be aware it is tricky terrain underfoot and the cliffs are eroding fast... take great care as you walk... pay attention to your surroundings.. wear stout footwear and bring plenty of snacks and liquids for the day... more details can be found on the bhassexplore Facebook page or @bhass_explore Instagram account... any questions just ask... those interested in the Birling Gap to Beachy Head section.. please get in touch with me to liase the day.... those interested in the Holywell, Cow Gap, Falling Sands and beyond to Beachy Head Lighthouse please meet at the Holywell end of Eastbourne's Prom before 9.ooam or at Cow Gap at just after 10.ooam... anyone can join for just part of the day... or all of the day.... as you prefer... bring strong gathering bags if you can.. though l will have some spare.... really looking forward to our first walk out of 2024... hope to see you all/some of you there!
